You should check out the mapquest.com page for the route(s) from Colorado Springs to Denver. You can click on “traffic” at the top right of the webpage to see what conditions are like at the time(s) you want to go there and back to see what traffic is like and how long it will take you.

It’s pretty bad. During rush hour you can add anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes to your drive. I would try to go in early or late and the same with leaving. Hope this helps a little.
