What are some fun things to do in the Denver Co area during the summer?

I am traveling with my 13 year old sons to Denver in a two weeks. I am looking for interesting or fun things to do in Denver, or outside of Denver?

Red Rocks in Morrison has an amazing outdoor ampitheatre for concerts and you can hike there.
Rocky Mtn. National park for camping, fishing
Colorado Springs-lots of outdoorsy stuff, fishing, zoo, waterfalls, mtn biking, horseback riding.
Denver-Six Flags, Zoo, Aquarium, Catch a Rockies game(they are actually doing good:), Rapids Soccer game.
Lots to do just depends on what you and your boys like, lots of sports stuff and outdoorsy stuff.
Wear shorts it is 90’s all week!

I just moved to Denver a year ago from Orlando so this area still has much interest(and believe it or not, I got bored in Orlando). If I were a 13 year old, this is what I might like to do:
Rafting: there is much whitewhiter within an hour of Denver.
Amusement Parks: You have Six Flags Elitch Gardens and then there is Water World which is one of the largest water parks in the US.
Outdoors: Rocky Mountain National Park, Mt. Evans, Pikes Peak. Especially good if you come from a warm climate with little snow- on Mt. Evans or Pikes Peak, it could snow anytime- even in the summer.
Panning for gold: You probably won’t hit it big- but I’m sure a 13 year old would find it fun.

What the second and third person said, but you can also go to a Colorado Rockies baseball game.
