    I’ve located a local list of restaurants that might help. You can drill down the Colorado results by cities nearby to you. If you visit nearby restaurants you can narrow down wich one would work best for you.

    The best one was Li’l Ollie’s. But the owners were getting older, the neighborhood was changing, and they closed a few years ago, it was incredible though.

    These days for very good Italian I’d suggest:
    Carmine’s on Penn which serves family style.
    Venice in Greenwood Village
    Pasta’s in Littleton
    Undici in Englewood is Northern style

    Skip the chains. Maggiano’s and Carraba’s are okay, but I always prefer private restaurants. I dine out a lot and have been to all of the above several times and enjoyed them greatly.
