    If you a criminal defendant (or representing a criminal defendant) appealing from a state judgment, your appeal would go to the Colorado Court of Appeals. The first link below is to a checklist that walks you through the appelate process of that court. The second link is to the appeliate rules, which the Appelate checklist references. The appendex to the appelate rules contains a number of forms.

    If you are a federal criminal defendant, then your appeal would go to the 10th Circuit. Click the third link to see the forms you need.

    If you are a pro per (i.e. if you do not have an attorney), then I STRONGLY advise you to hire one, or ask the court to appoint an attorney for you. Trying to handle your own appeal is a bad idea.
