It’s just the first stop of many cities. My roadtrip will include most if not all of the following. Any ideas are welcome.

Lincoln, Nebraska

Cheyene, Wyoming
Salt Lake City, Utah
Las Vegas, Neveda
Los Angeles, California
Phoenix, Arizona
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Dallas, Texas
Houston, Texas
New Orleans, Louisiana
Birmingham, Alabama
Nashville, Tennessee
Cinncinati, Ohio
Indianapolis, Indiana

Yeah, I know, long trip. Should be fun. I welcome the advise.

Denver has a great water park. But can I ask why you picked these cities, specifically? Because some of them seem sort of “dull”… Sorry. I’m not trying to be mean, but I’ve been to many of them, and Cheyenne??? Do you have a deep and abiding love of tumbleweeds? Birmingham I get, completely, beautiful area with lots to do. Jackson Hole if you’re going to Wyoming. Touristy, yes, but Tetons, Tram rides, very scenic and lots to do. New Orleans I get… Denver, I’ve lived there… Yuck! Unless it’s football season, GO BRONCOS!!! And in TX, San Antonio is a GREAT place… Billy Marbles, Seaworld, the River Walk (not as great as it used to be, but still nice) and what about Reno? Great town, Theater, Street Vibrations, Hot August Nights (cars), and in the summer, concerts nightly almost. Plus all sorts of shows. Even an orchestra. Salt Lake City? My sister lives there and Yuck… Is there any way to replan some of your stops? maybe Kalispell, MT… Not far from Canada, Glacier park, Beautiful Lakes and Mountains, plus Lots of other things to do. Also, Newport Beach is close to L.A. and it has beautiful beaches, although very busy in summer, maybe Huntington Beach. However, if you’re going to the coast, I recommend up farther, NW. Washington, great ferry rides to some very nice Islands, and Oregon, great beaches without such terrible crowds. My personal choice is saving that gas money and going to Germany, Kitzingen is beautiful, friendly and not far from Wurzburg Castle. It has a train connection, to Austria, or wherever but the city itself is a great vacation. Several gusthauses to stay at. At any rate, I hope you enjoy whatever you do and remember to be safe, bring blanket, water, etc. Desert nights are cold and dry if your car breaks down. Take care, hope this helped a bit.
